Winding Down
Well, we played Mercyhurst for round 2 last Thursday, and despite what the score showed, we game the number 7 team a run for there money at parts. Despite the loss, there is no way we would be upset with the heart and effort we played with. So then of course we had to move on quickly, as we played Seton Hill this past Saturday. I am happy to report, we won game number seven. It was a cold and rainy, snowy day, and at times the sleet was peircing, but coming out with the 12-10 win made it well worth it. We will be finishing up the saeason this week, playing #3 Lock Haven on Wednesday, and ending with Gannon University this Saturday. Saturday is home, at 1:00 pm, at N. Kerr Thompson Stadium, so stop by!

The Rock Takes on Edinboro
After a rough loss to Bloom only 3 days ago, we had to bounce back quickly for our match against Edinboro yesterday. I am pleased to announce we pulled off a 16-14 win. I wish there was a bigger margin in the score, however a win is a win. I say this because at one point, we were able to take a 7 goal lead, and late in the second half, we slowly let it dwindle. But all the matters is we pulled it off in the end and now post a record of 6-7. Last season, we only had 5 wins, so we are already ahead of the game. As the season winds down, we play Mercyhurst for round 2 this Thursday, we take on Seton Hill this Saturday at home, then Lock Haven and Gannon next week. I'll be sure to keep you updated.

Well, we pulled off a nice 22-10 win last night against Lake Erie College. Early on we looked a little shaky, and it was not one our strongest first halves, however our second half made up for. Multiple different people got some goals in, including a few freshmen with their first goals. That's always something you like to see. Tomorrow we play a crossover game against Bloomsburg University. It's going to be a tough one, so wish us luck! Here we go Rock!!!

Gameday- SRU vs. Lake Erie College
It has been a rough season so far, playing team ranked as high as 2nd and 5th in the nation. Our current record is 4-6. So with ten games down, we still have seven games remaining to salvage our season. Tonight at 7:00, we play Lake Erie College here as N. Kerr Thompson stadium. We are hoping to bring the win column up to five today. Still being a (relatively) newer program, we are a team made up mostly by freshmen and sophomores. The only way to go is up, right? So hoping to go out tonight and pull off the W. Here we go Rock!!!!!!
